Bible Verse This Week
If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Nếu miệng ngươi xưng Đức Chúa Jêsus ra và lòng ngươi tin rằng Đức Chúa Trời đã khiến Ngài từ kẻ chết sống lại, thì ngươi sẽ được cứu.

DEVOTIONAL OF THE WEEK
God’s Perfect Timing [Read John 7:1–8]
Margaret was engaged to the man of her dreams and had a great paying job when her widowed mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Being an only child, Margaret made the decision to resign from her job and return home to nurse her mother.
Her ideal man broke off the engagement, claiming he could not cope with such an emotional situation. Margaret was devastated.
One of the young doctors on her mother’s oncology team promised to pray for her. When her mother died six months later, Jack was there. Strong emotions did not scare him and his faith supported her. He took vacation days to help with funeral arrangements, and spent hours listening to her pour out her grief. Eighteen months later, Margaret and Jack married and she has what she now considers the perfect teaching job.
Sometimes it is difficult for us to believe in God’s plan and timing for our lives. His timing is always perfect (John 7:8). Can you see and understand that as you look back and reflect on events in your own life?
Prayer Suggestion: Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and help you believe and remain in His perfect timing.
